Outpatient Mental Health Treatment for Adolescents

The Brook Hospital – KMI offers highly-structured Outpatient Programs for Adolescents (ages 13 to 17) who are experiencing a condition related to an acute psychiatric illness and/or emotional disorder.

Psychiatric Intensive Outpatient

Adolescent Partial Hospitalization (PHP)

Our programs are designed to address the individual needs of these patients through specialized physical, social, spiritual, medical and psychotherapeutic treatment interventions.

Adolescent Psych PHP

The Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is for adolescent patients whose symptoms do not require an inpatient hospital stay but may need a medication evaluation or close oversight, or for those who recently completed an inpatient hospital stay and need access to a psychiatrist or nurse practitioner to ensure medication and symptom stability. This program takes place Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
Program features:
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Seen by Psychiatrist or Nurse Practioner weekly
  • Group therapy
  • Weekly family therapy sessions
  • Patients attend school through Jefferson County Public Schools daily
