The Brook Hospital at Dupont offers a highly structured Partial Hospitalization Program for adults (age 18 and over) who are experiencing a severe or disabling condition related to an acute psychiatric illness and/or emotional disorder. This program is designed to address the individual needs of these patients through specialized physical, social, spiritual, medical and psychotherapeutic treatment interventions.
The Partial Hospitalization Program Services include the following:
The Partial Hospitalization Program is offered Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for adults. Lunch is provided for patients from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Following completion of the Partial Hospitalization Program, an appropriate referral will be made for the patient to continue treatment in the least restrictive level of care possible (i.e., intensive outpatient, outpatient, support group, etc.) The level of care recommended is determined by the individual needs of the patient.
We cannot offer diagnosis, counseling or recommendations online, but an Assessment and Referral specialist is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 502-426-6380. If you are currently experiencing an emergency, please dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
